Hi… I have the same skin tone as yours and I have been using Nars Sheer Glow in shade Stromboli as well as BB serum foundation in shade Warm Natural 4.5 and I’m in love with the Too Face Foundation Bur can’t decide if I should opt for Golden Beige/WarmBeige/sand.

For the Too Faced Born This Way foundation, it really depends on your undertone:
– Golden Beige is light shade with golden undertones
– Warm Beige is a medium shade with neutral undertone
– Sand is a medium shade with golden undertone
For NC40 skin tones, I’d recommend going with the medium shades (Warm Beige and Sand).

Hey, is this with respect to too faced matte 24 hour foundation or the Original too faced one? As there is difference in shades with respect to both. Warm beige in original too faced is on a darker side compared to too faced born this way matte. Original too faced warm beige is a perfect match for me but in matte, warm beige is but lighter. Should I opt for sand shade in matte too faced?

Hi Gayatri, the shades listed are for Too Faced Born This Way foundation in the Original formula. If you find Warm Beige in the Matte version too light, then I’d say it’s worth trying out the Sand shade in Matte. Sand is a medium shade with golden undertones, so if you have similar undertones, then it might work for you.

For NC40 skin tone, I’d definitely go with 4 Medium for e.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Filter. It’s a medium shade with neutral undertones. 5 Medium/Tan is a warm shade that would fit MAC NC42 to NC44 skin tones better.
