Who should buy this
Buy this foundation if you are looking for a:
- moisturizing foundation with a dewy finish
- light to medium coverage
- foundation that won’t settle into fine lines
Who should NOT buy this
Don’t buy this foundation if:
- you have oily skin. There are better options out there.
- prefer a foundation with high coverage.
- you need long lasting coverage.
- you need high SPF or mineral sun protection.
Get this if you need MOISTURE
The Maybelline Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation is great for dry skin types. It provides a dewy finish that won’t settle into fine lines, making it a great option for mature skin.
For combination skin types, you can skip moisturizer and apply the foundation directly to get a quick non-cakey look.
Good range of shades for pale and dark skin tones
There are 24 shades available, ranging from pale porcelain to deep java tones. It’s nowhere as extensive as Fenty’s shades, but hey, it also costs a fraction of what Fenty is charging.
There are enough warm and neutral shades to suit most skin tones, including medium and deep tones.
Longevity is not its forte, but a bit of prep will help
Unfortunately, it won’t last a full sweaty 12-hour day without some help. If you plan to wear this during a strenuous workout session or commute, a thin dusting of powder and occasional touch ups will help you look flawless all day.
Affordable and available everywhere
Maybelline products are available pretty much everywhere from supermarkets to Amazon.
And who needs to spend $40 on foundation when this stuff is cheaper than a bag of chips?!
